InterCeltic Festival in Lorient, Brittany to see The Prestonpans Tapestry
Third visit to France by the Prestonpans Tapestry
The Battle of Prestonpans Tapestry is becoming a familiar sight in Normandy and Brittany. It's already been exhibited in Bayeux, our inspiration; and in Saint Nazaire/ Pornichet where The Prince secretly embarked for Eriskay in July 1745. Now it's scheduled in August 2017 to join the internationally acclaimed InterCeltic Festival - FIL - in Lorient, Brittany for 10 days. FIL gets some 700,000 Celtic visitors every year with a particular nation its focus - for 2017 it's Ecosse.

As the fine poster above shows however, the exhibition will continue until September 2nd after FIL closes to be available for the wider local audience too.

The team that ensured our success in Pornichet/ Saint Nazaire, Jean Caevar and Hubert are once again taking the lead locally for us and Arran Johnston is responsible for the Opening Installation.
