Consultations in full swing for the future at Prestongrange Museum

Battle Trust seeking community views on a possible presence with its exhibitions at Prestongrange Museum site

The Battle Trust has commissioned BarkerLangham LLP with which it has been working since 2006 to undertake a community wide consultation in the coming months. The outcomes will form an input to its imminent applications for funding support. Discussions are in hand with ELC to explore whether the Trust's tapestry and Living History exhibitions should be located at the Museum site.

The Trust believes it might be possible if a mutually satisfactory understanding can be reached but the Trustees are only too well aware that it's vital to get it right if sufficient visitors are to be attracted to make the ambitious future self-sustaining in revenue terms.
