Baron Courts now to host The Scottish Tartans Society

On January 10/1th 2001 the Baron Courts took into their care the Hall of Records of the Scottish Tartans Society. We did so on the understanding that we shall provide rent free accommodations locally for their Hall of Records and some of its fine artefacts including the Brown's tartan complete. The Hall contains the Public Register of All Known Tartans.

The official Opening will occur in August contemporaneously with the launch of the Kingdom of Scotland Volume of the 19th Edition of Burke's Landed Gentry .. which our collegues at IRDC are developing under contract GO www.burkes-landed-gentry.com
