Mural Meeting in Kitchener: October 26th - 28th 2005

Karin Easton, Director of Mural Routes [Canada] is convening their 9th Murals Symposium in Eastern Canada shortly. Whilst this is not an Association event, Karin is of course a member and webmaster is certain more than a few Global Association Members will be interested to learn the details - which are as follows:

Mural Routes in partnership with Waterloo Community Arts Centre and The Urban Gallery invite you to attend the 9th National Mural Symposium which will take place in Kitchener/Waterloo, Ontario, Canada Wednesday Oct. 26, - Friday, Oct. 28, 2005.

Highlights of the Symposium include:
Keynote address by Glen Murray, former mayor of Winnipeg
Health and safety issues with Ted Rickard, Manager of Health and Safety for OCAD
Fundraising with Louise Aspin, Director, Major Gifts, Sunnybrook and Women’s Foundation
“How to approach the Wall” with master muralist, John Hood
