Battlefield Archaeology Survey ready to Begin

This autumn Dr Tony Pollard, one of Scotland's senior archaeologists based at Glasgow University, is leading the Trust's battlefield dig. The project is part funded by the Heritage Lottery and will be searching for artefacts left behind after the battle.

Volunteers to assist the 'dig' [which will include metal detecting of course] are wanted, and all who care to help in this way are asked to be in touch with Tony Pollard asap. N.B. Experience is not necessary and it constitutes a great opportunity to learn new skills.
