The Dolphinstoun (formerly Cowthrople) Doocot
is a 17th Century A Listed Building, being a 3-stage beehive
of sandstone russle, each stage separated by thumbnail bead
rat courses and evenly arranged water spouts at cornice level.
It has the remains of a glover (cuphole) evident on its roof. |
