Janet McCrorie captures Redcoats Flight at Prestonpans ...

After the Charge, the redcoats reportedly fled if they could; most were taken prisoners although Sir John Cope and most of the dragoons escaped up what today we call Johnnie Cope's Road and via Tranent made it to Berwick on Tweed - their arrival there is recorded in the Prestonpans Tapestry!
