Dunbar Signage Shows the Way .... w/e September 13th/15th

September 3rd is the anniversary as shown on the recently restored Memorial


Walkers' Group listen to the story of the battle, Doon Hill from which the Scots unwisely descended in the background - giving Cromwell the opportunity to attack at dawn with his cavalry


Scots soldiers, family and General Leslie outside the Dunbar Town House - from which the Walkers' Trail runs 2 miles to the Memorial. The Town House houses an exhibition until end September created by Durham University and local historians addressing the fate of many of those Scots taken prisoner.
