Letting East Lothian Know ... 1745 Battlefield must be conserved!

Battle Trust is grateful to local and national press for heightening public awareness ...

The Battle Trust is absolutely opposed to any structure being built on the 1745 battlefield and is mounting a vigorous PR campaign in opposition to the Scoping proposal by InchCape Offshore/ On shore energy to do so.

Nationally the Herald and the Edinburgh Evening News carried the Trust's protests. A letter has already gone to Fiona Hyslop MSP, the Cabinet Secretary for Culture which includes Historic Scotland, that maintains the National Battlefield Inventory. In East Lothian both the Courier and East Lothian News carried details from their senior reporters -
