Burns Ceilidh at The Goth a Fine Success ... see the pictures ...

Overwhelming Support at Burns 'Family' Ceilidh

Tim Porteus with fellow Pans story tellers and the Prestoungrange Players all combined to offer an outstanding afternoon of enjoyable Burns at the Gothenburg on Sunday January 23rd. Not only was it enjoyable however. It was a sell out occasion with latecomers seated on the Thomas Nelson steps and others on the carpet. But nobody cared. May there be many more .... story telling together with drama is surely here to stay in the Pans.

It's unfair of course to pick out any given moment but the telling of Tam O'Shanter, warlocks and witches all, certainly gave the camera a memorable moment. 'Tis such a shame that the Pans' own Burns' Shelter with Kate Hunter's normally illuminated mural of this very poem is currently in bad salts, but Tim's beautifully crafted and presented Family Ceilidh 2011 more than made up for it!
