Where and When Can I Visit The Prestonpans Tapestry?

This is the Schedule ... it follows the route The Prince took in 1745!

With all the fine publicity the Trust received for the amazing Prestonpans Tapestry, the schedule for its exhibition venues got a bit [indeed more than a bit] lost. We know many have been enquiring at The Prestoungrange Gothenburg, at the traffic lights when the Tapestry Decalled White Van stops for a moment and in many another place. The answer is it's where The Prince was in 1745, so that implies quite correctly it will be back in Prestonpans by September - the 24th/ 25th to be precise @ The Prestonpans Community Centre. But equally it's in Perth and at Blair Castle and Dunblane Cathedral and Eriskay [today even] and Arisaig and Fort William and Stirling [incorrect these last two - The Prince never captured either of those garrisons!] Aberdeen Press & Journal last below tells the details of the tour in The Isles.

P.S. We are most particularly grateful to Barker Langham for sponsoring some of our tour costs - Barker Langham are our longstanding heritage development advisers - and friends! And the Highland Council made a small grant to meet our costs at Fort William Museum.
