On Your Marks: Sunday September 23rd is the date for the Prestonpans Half Marathon

The Prestopnpans Half Marathon, revived with great success last year by Julie and Grant Aitken attracting more than 100 runners, is to be held this year from a Meadowmill Starting and Finishing Line on Sunday September 23rd.

That's going to be a busy weekend since Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd will see re-enactments of Colonel Gardiner's final moments!

.....and when Craig Allan, Head Brewer at The Prestoungrange Gothenburg for Fowler's Ales, will be brewing their own special and the 'official' 2007 Edinburgh Marathon Ale.
