Two Score Years

Not quite yet but not too long now, it will be time for the Provost of East Lothian and Prestonpans, Councillor Pat O'Brien JP, to celebrate his 40th Wedding Anniversary.

Legend has it that his wedding reception in October 1964 was held at The Gothenburg, and here is both the pictorial evidence and the receipt for what must have been a splendid day.

Congratulations Pat and Margaret. Rest assured when that 40th Anniversary finally arrives in October next year the entertainment will be on the house. You've done a very great deal in your several leadership roles over the intervening years and the opportunity to say thank you for that and to give a personal Best Wishes shall not be missed.
