Prize Winners make intriguing suggestions for Preston Tower

It was great to read in this week's East Lothian Courier that the Scottish Castles Association 2016 Charles McKean Memorial Prize had been awarded for grand new ideas to 'revitalise' Preston Tower.

At the Award Ceremony the question was posed: "Will their plans ever be realised? Who knows!"

Three groups submitted proposals for the challenge, with Richard Tomson, Lucy Allen & Jon Allcock the team that won.

Now it's up to us all to see whether matters should be/ can be moved forward ... our Area Partnership for sure!
