WITCH! Roy Pugh's play returns to The Gothenburg at Hallowe'en

Remembrance Time for Prestonpans 81 Witches Approaches

Each year since the town's 81 Witches were Pardonned the Arts Festival has presented a play in their remembrance. Roy Pugh has as many will know created a cycle of three plays and this year it is the turn of Witch!, first produced in 2005 to be seen again at the Prestoungrange Gothenburg.

Andrew Dallmeyer and the Prestoungrange Players are responsible for this production with tickets at £5 [concession £3] available at The Gothenburg [Ph 01875 819922 or enquire at the Bistro or Bar].

Theatre suppers from 5.30pm and / lunches from noon are available on October 25th and 26th / 27th - the latter also being the occasion when the Remembrance Ceremony will be held at the memorial in The Goth's south garden where all 81 who died have their names inscribed on the Wall of Remembrance. Book your dinner/ luncheon with staff at The Goth asap to ensure a table on time.
