Meanwhilers First Puppet Show Impresses Lord Mayor and More ..

The Meanwhilers, led by Malcolm Watson, Andrew Warnock and Ruth Herbert decided to attempt something totally different to welcome the Lord Mayor of Gothenburg on July 23rd.

They told the history of the town from behind illuminated white sheets with human puppets to act the parts. The Meanwhilers, who are the resident theatre group at The Gothenburg and are currently at The Fringe with Catriona, had never attempted such a performance before and it augured well for the future.
