Miners Showers
Miners' Showers …. shows the room at the former Colliery, now the
Industrial Heritage Museum, that more than any other allows one
a glimpse of the place, steam noise heat as it was. One can sense
what was, something other than today's saccharin museum. The shower
block also represents a victory of labour over capitalism, even
though short-lived, to clean up at the Colliery's expense.
