Trust's ELC Petition 12 months on ... PROGRESS REPORT

What Progress over the past year then ....?

Talking of Petitions to Elected Assemblies, the current PETITION to Holyrood's Parliament was preceded in January 2010 by a Petition to East Lothian Council. It went well then, later gaining Cabinet endorsement, and over the following 12 months more than a few initiatives were set in hand. Disappointingly the 'specifics' out and about the Battlefield/ Battle Bing where the Trust had hoped to see progress are still mostly pending. However on the broad front under Plan B at the Heritage Museum considerable progress seems to be occuring.

Supporters are invited to review how it's gone. The Original Petition is in BLACK and Progress Comments in RED as agreed with Tom Shearer, Manager of Wellbeing - our 'designated ELC Linker'. The Report has been lodged with The Petitions Committee & the Cabinet Member for Wellbeing, Cllr. Ruth Currie.
