Prince and the Tapestry Land Again on Eriskay - July 31st

The Prestonpans Tapestry has been stitched across the nation and indeed around the world, but pole position for its Parade naturally goes to Eriskay

This time nobody on the island is going to say 'Go Home' to the Prince as he re-enacts His landing there in July 1745 - just 265 years ago. Instead a Welcoming Party will be out in force on the Strand and then back at the Village Hall - there to see the finished tapestry. Yes, the premiere viewing is to be on Eriskay just as it should be. They and friends from the Uists and Benbecula helped stitch the panel telling of his arrival there - in disguise on that occasion!
