Lady Prestoungrange's Birthday

Avril, Lady of Prestoungrange, regularly celebrates her birthday far from home though in recent years it has been mainly in Australia. This year, the late running of IMCA's Annual Congress in Sarawak and the visit to the 30,000 year old murals there meant celebrations were in Singapore en route to Australia and dodging the SARS epidemic!

A day room at the famous
Raffles' Hotel there seemed to fit the bill, and relaxation either in the Courtyard or the Long Bar with a Singapore Sling. It was a memorable birthday, shared also with Bryan and Joan.
