Le Projet pour Une Plaque a Bonne Asne - St Nazaire

Strong support in Brittany for plaque at Bonne Asne from where the Prince set sail to Eriskay

It has to be reported that for the excellent tapestry panel [shown below] depicting The Prince boarding du Tailley at St Nazaire Andrew Crummy designed with considerable poetic licence. Breton historians are certain he took a small boat out to the ship from the small beach at Bonne Asne. And it is there that the Battle Trust remains hopeful that a plaque will be placed.

Meanwhile PresseOcean from St Nazaire has much more to report as the Battle of Prestonpans Tapestry continues its exhibition beyond the visits of Alex Salmon and Fiona Hyslop during FIL - until September 3rd at Galerie Faouedic.
... and Yes, Outlander showing on tv in France now gets its mention!
