3rd Scottish Seafood Festival at The Gothenburg for 3 Harbours Weekends

Second weekend beckons at our 3rd Scottish Seafood Festival .. Saturday/ Sunday June 11th/ 12th

.. if you missed the Seafood Festival last weekend, there's still a chance to get there at the Gothenburg this coming Saturday/ Sunday 11th/ 12th June, noon till closing. The Choir [below] were there last weekend and there's music throughout the week - Brian Kelly, Open Folk with the Barriegadgers, The Lost Boys, Alex Hodgson & Friends and Red School Youth Music ...

The Seafood Festival offers a magnificent spread starting with Prosecco and Oyster[s] with Cullen skink, mussel soup, delicious sea bream and tuna and matching white wines and beers. The Tropicano summer ale from Fowler's Microbrewery created by Kentwood the new brewing team is a winner.

With its now extended licence the PopUp Seafood Café will be busy during the day including beer tasters and a chance to see Tom Ewing's two new murals of the Cockenzie Towers and the 1745 Battle. There's seating in the James Fewell Bar and the James Park Bistro too.

This year's Scottish Seafood Festival is more modest in size than the earlier two during 3 Harbours with outdoor marquees on the Greenhills, but ... there's more fish scope this year and very grand plans for the future. The intention is for the Gothenburg to act as hub for a greater occasion as part of the East of Scotland's Fish Festival Trail.
