Fireworks on the Beach to Celebrate Barons' Day 2006

Fireworks at The Prestoungrange Gothenburg: November 28th at 10.30 pm

Scottish Barons, gathered again at The Prestoungrange Gothenburg to commemorate the ending of feudal land tenure and the loss of their judicial rights on November 28th 2004, will scarcely have time to be depressed about it! After all, plus ca change ...

Last year's commemoration went very well indeed.

Whilst most of their afternoon and evening together with their guests will be devoted to theatre at the Royal Musselburgh Golf Club, a Burke's Peerage Update, more poesie from the Poet Laureate and a Feast of Barons of Beef and more ... EVERYONE from the ancient baronial lands, which means everyone living in The Pans, is invited to watch the fireworks at 10.00 PM. They will be on the beach area opposite The Prestoungrange Gothenburg. And the James Fewell Bar looks forward to welcoming as many customers that evening as can be accommodated.
