Curtain Up at the World Premiere of Scottish Diaspora Tapestry

Follow the AA Yellow Signs, Join the Growing Number of Visitors ..

The Tapestry is on show, at the Prestonpans Community Centre, until 5pm Sunday June 8th ... so it's not too late if you've not been yet!

After that the Southern African and Australasian panels will be briefly on display at The Prestoungrange Gothenburg from Tuesday June 10th/ 20th. Chef Andrew Laurie is offering Afro-Australasian Specials so that's worth a go. [Closed Mondays remember!] Carol Black is pictured at The Gothenburg at bottom below as are some of the contributions youngsters from Prestonpans made with their own family tales recalled on plates!

After those few panels at The Goth, as good Aussies say, it's all going walkabout! The entire 167 panel tapestry will be off to Bannockburn/ Stirling, then Edinburgh Fringe, Paisley and Inverness/ Wick before heading off to the Baltic and Western Europe in 2015.
