Preston Athletic Win 3-0 ... in their Prestoungrange Gothenburg Colours

It's All in the Shirt [and the Boot]

It's been The Prestoungrange Gothenburg's honour this season to sponsor Preston Athletic, no mean football team. The banners on the railings at Pennypit and the blue shirts on the players tell the story.

The game seen above was a triumph for our team playing at home, beating Dalbeattie Star 3-0, after being knocked out of the Qualifying Cup by them earlier in the season; and having also lost the previous East of Scotland Premier Division fixture as well.

Baron Gets His Own #7 Shirt

After the match Gordon, Baron of Prestoungrange, received a souvenir #7 shirt from the Captain, Craig Scott. He did not volunteer to turn out on any future occasion, nor was he asked so to do. The shirt was for his son Mathew Wills Yr of Prestoungrange who, standing 6' 6" tall, can often win the high ball.
