Chemainus Spirit Alive and Well!

Never Forget the Chemainus Sprit then ..

... yes, Chemainus is still WOW-ing the crowds after 25 years.

Wearied of too-ings and fro-ings with committees for this and that and city by-laws, Dan Sawatzky just went ahead and painted the Anniversary Mural. What a brilliant way to celebrate the Origins of our great Global Association at its birthplace. Hurrah for the naysayers for playing their customary role.

That was how the first mural of the 3000+ murals in towns across the world in membership got painted one recalls ... with the corollary that: if you don't like it, we can paint it out.
