Is the Goth a 'Bad' Pub?

Actually, we are running a community pub!

Anne Taylor, the Goth's Chief Executive, penned a letter to the East Lothian Courier printed July 26th seeking to provide a counterbalance to a series of newspaper reports on complaints made about noise at The Goth in Prestonpans since it re-opened in 2004.

The most recent meeting of the East Lothian Licensing Board had led local Councillor Willie Innes to suggest that "Things have got to change at The Goth..."

As always, there are two sides to any story, and The Goth's is presented below. The conisderable flow of complaints has in fact come from one particular quarter only. Or at least that was the case until .... ironically, in the very same issue ... The Goth found itself publishing its Apology for the late running of the Fireworks Display for the Lord Mayor of Gothenburg who was in town to launch the Centenary Celebrations for 2008 - also shown below.

Tough life running a community pub Anne, is it not?
