Thinking Time Yesterday & Tomorrow

One Sept of the Clan that is not widely recognised because it is scattered all over the globe went into session at Buckingham on June 4th and 5th. It is a collectivity that began life as the Internet Research & Development Centre some six years ago and has now spun out as e-incubator enterprises from Burke's Peerage, to Cambridge Online Learning, IMCA Socrates, Canadian School of Management, IMCA and Northland Open University. No mean feat and all with the support of MCB University Press and Learning Services International SA as clients and investors.

The occasion was their annual Think Tank, the last in their present series. Below are the key players over the years with new Group Financier Tony Gillingham second from the left. The remainder of the Sept left to right are Dr Julian Baron of Dolphinstoun, Mathew Wills Yr of Prestoungrange, Anne Christie, Dr Gordon Baron of Prestoungrange, Carol Oliver, Dr Eric Sandelands, Mike Cross, Dr Harry Lenderman (USA colleague and leader of Sodexho University there) Sylvia Burgess and Dr Richard Teare. The portrait is of Molly Ainslie, longest serving former member of staff at IRDC now working with Sylvia Burgess and Glynis O'Callaghan in Marriotts Professional Services which inter alia manages the Buckingham campus.

The remaining pictures are of the Champagne Luncheon which included a barbecue and Devos at 3 pm at the Manor House in Milton Malsor where as always the sun shone. Former staff members of IRDC were at the luncheon along with John Unwin and colleagues from Land Unwin who undertake the printing for both Burke's and the Baron Courts Historical Series.
