1745 DreamTime with the Media

Its Not Illegal to Dream - even a 'Rebellious' Dream!

The Trustees took their first significant step on September 20th 2006 to launch their Campaign. The National Trust for Scotland had kindly loaned their Board Room for a Press Conference convened by Kristine Cunningham in Wemyss House, Charlotte Square, Edinburgh. Briefings were given to The Scotsman, The Herald, The East Lothian Courier, East Lothian News and The Edinburgh Evening News. All carried the story as told by Gareth Jones, Peter Mackenzie and the Baron of Prestoungrange - and gave excellent coverage.

The Conference in Edinburgh was followed by a PhotoCall at the top of the Battle Byng, Prestonpans, in Hurricane Gordon's tail winds of at least 60 mph. But Adam Watters stood his ground as did the Baron doing justice to the Raising of Bonnie Prince Charlie's Battle Standard of the '45.
